Thanda
Thanda is community-based organization based in rural South Africa that provides: Early Childhood Development; After-school Programming; Organic Farming; and Creative Learning Training. Their mission is to empower people to create positive change – change in individuals, change in their communities and eventually changes that impact the world.
Developed end-of-year fundraising campaign objectives, timeline, creative theme and top-line messages. Designed campaign mailer and creative copy for print.
Developed all digital marketing campaign copy including a total of 11 appeals and 9 blogs posts. Provided ongoing campaign strategy and project management
The campaign successfully surpassed its fundraising goal of $16,500 to provide after-school programming to 250 children in the next year.
Generation Citizen
Generation Citizen believes every student has the right to learn how to effectively participate in our democracy. They inspire civic participation through a proven state standards-aligned Action Civics class that gives students the opportunity to directly engage in the political process.
Oversaw the creation of the 2019 Annual Impact Report. Developed creative brief, theme, collected and drafted copy, worked with designer to manage all creative aspects of the report.
